AEJC Hickstead played host to the new initiative’s final competition, crowning the next generation of equine stars.
Having qualified by completing double clears in in the appropriate British Showjumping age classes, 6 and 7-year-old horses were judged under table A10 guidelines, while 4 and 5-year-olds were given points based on technique, balance, fluency and potential.
It’s no surprise then, that our very own Jess Hewitt and Diatender TW won the 5-year-old class with a top score of 105.6, while Scott and Comet TW came 7th with a score 0f 94.3 in the 4-year-olds.
We always enjoy seeing horses produced or bred by us going on to enjoy success at competition and it was particularly rewarding to be recognised by reference at this prestigious new show in the form Action Girl TW who came 8th in the 5-year-olds under Nicole Pavitt and Titanium Z who jumped a lovely round with Yazmin Pinchen in the 6-year-olds.
